Reminders
After School
We enjoy the community feel after school, creating a welcoming wairua (spirit or feeling) across our kura (school). As a polite reminder, please actively supervise your child if they are playing on the apparatus. As our teachers are planning and meeting from 3 pm, please avoid entering the classes as they have packed away and are preparing for the next day. If you wish to see your child’s teacher, please make an appointment to avoid disappointment. Staff are more than happy to help if they are available.
School Pick up
Parents may need assistance to collect their children at the end of the school day. If this is the case, please call the office, and we will inform your child. The message may not get to students on rare occasions if the office is trying to call the class late in the afternoon. Therefore, to mitigate any anxiety, please remind your child that if you do not turn up at the end of the day, they are to speak to the duty teacher at the school gate and go to the office. This will help to clarify the situation and reassure your child. Alternatively, if you require after-school child supervision, please contact sKids at [email protected]. This is a great option to connect with friends over afternoon tea and play.
