The government’s announcement today is that Auckland will remain at Level 3 for at least another two weeks.  This means that the vast majority our community needs to continue to work with us to ensure we deliver the best possible learning outcomes from a distance.  Our teachers will continue to do their best to support our tamariki through this period.  As always, contact your child’s teacher if you require advice or support over the coming period.

We will await further news from the government about the framework for safely returning to Level 2.  I will communicate further in the next day or so with some advice about how we will navigate our way through some of the logistics of the end of the academic school year.  We are looking at what events will be postponed, cancelled or changed in order to ensure we reach the end of the year with everyone’s sanity still intact.  I will communicate these decisions and the thinking behind them as soon as I can so that our community has clarity.
