3 ‘Thank you’s
Thank you for following our requests to limit the number of adults on the grounds before and after school …and to not linger.
Thanks again to all who supported their children with distance learning. It is so good to see the time was put to good use. There is a small number of parents who are choosing to keep their children home for a little longer. We understand. All classroom teachers are delivering classroom learning programmes now so running distance learning as well is not sustainable. DL will be reducing.
Thank you John. A friend of our school, John Kim (Clean as a Whistle), had his team spray all surfaces with a special and expensive antiviral spray during Level 4 lockdown. It is the government’s recommended product that he also uses on Wellington’s trains. This has further improved our protection. He also covered the cost himself. We continue to make minor changes to improve our processes and indications are that our public health measures for Reopening in Level 2 are working well.
The kids are smiling, the teachers are happy and the sun is out. It’s so good to be back at school!
